Advanced Diploma in Landscaping

Objective : The one year Advanced Diploma in Landscaping conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the field of building construction, architecture, interior design etc.

Eligibility : 10+2 Duration : One year

Award : Advanced Diploma in Landscaping shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University Nagaland.

Careers in Landscaping

The increasing importance placed on landscaping has made the profession one of the fastest growing fields in India. Fresh Diploma from landscaping courses can find gainful employment with independent landscapists, architects or in large architectural or landscaping firms. Professionals may also find work in private design consultancy firms or with construction companies or builders. The nature of the landscaping profession also offers excellent prospects for individuals who want to work part time or full time self-employed. Landscapists can start their own nursery with minimal investment and get high returns.

Total Fee : Rs. 9,125

Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 9,125 in the name of “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Sodzulhou Village, P.O. - ARTC, NH-39, Dimapur - 797115 Nagaland by speed post only.

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300 per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Semester/Annual Examinations to be held at different Examination Centers within the State of Nagaland (Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha).

Study Materials : The Identity Card and the Set of Study Materials will be despatched to the admitted students within a month from the date of receipt of completed applications along with other documents and first instalment of fee.
